EYC (Episcopal Youth for Christ)

St. Paul’s EYC (Episcopal Youth for Christ) is dedicated to living into the Bible verse they chose. 1 Timothy 4:12 reads, “Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.”  We arrange our activities around five areas: social and group development activities, teaching and studying things that interest the youth, faith development, ministry BY the youth, and fundraising.  All of our programming surrounds these five areas. The leadership team, called the “Design Team,” comprises youth and adult ministers. It meets bi-monthly to evaluate the programs of the months past, work out the details of the programs for the coming month, and decide on programs for the two further months to come.  The young people are involved in the choosing and developing the programs for EYC.

We strive to continue making the McRae Youth Lodge the perfect haven for young teens to come and be themselves - the good, the bad, and the ugly - and meet God in that place of love. We want you all to know how much we appreciate all who have and continue to support us in our amazing youth lodge! It is the place where wonderful ministry does and will continue to take place.
